Marsha MacBride, formerly executive vice president for legal and regulatory affairs at the National Associaton of Broadcasters, has joined media legal services firm Sciarrino & Shubert as counsel.
MacBride was replaced by Jane Mago at NAB back in December, but remained a strategic advisor.
MacBride is a former vice president for Disney and was chief of staff for Federal Communications chairman Michael Powell. She was Powell's chief of staff when he the FCC in 1985, but left briefly to be a vice president in Disney's Washington office in 2000-2001.
Her resume also includes a stint as acting deputy chief of the Cable Services Bureau, legal advisor to former commissioner and acting chairman James Quello.
