Aegis Media has tapped Nigel Morris as CEO of Aegis Media North America. He had been CEO of Isobar, Aegis’s digital agency network.
Also, Mark Cranmer has joined Aegis as CEO of Isobar. He was CEO of Starcom Mediavest EMEA.

Digital TV software and services provider ANT has named John Gooch engineering director. He comes from Nortel Networks, where he was leader for installation and commissioning in Northern Europe.
Ascent Media
Emily Keeton has been named senior vice president, corporate development at Ascent Media. She comes from Credit Suisse, where she was a a managing director in the investment-banking division.
Also, Adam Poulter has joined Ascent as senior vice president, global sales and account management. He had been executive commercial director at Red Bee Media.
And Staci Miller was named vice president, strategic initiatives. She had been VP, strategy and operations at Warner Bros. Online.

Discovery Communications tapped Jennifer Iras as vice president, affiliate and national accounts marketing, domestic distribution. She comes from Comcast Networks, where she was VP, network distribution and development.

MTV Tr3s has named José Tillán general manager/executive vice president. He had been senior VP, content and creative at MTV/VH1 Latin America.
NBC Local Media
NBC Local Media has tapped Owen Thomas as editorial director of NBC Bay Area’s digital efforts. He comes from Gawker Media, where he was managing editor of Valleywag.

New York-based TV marketing firm Simulmedia has added Thomas J. Deierlein as chief operating officer. He comes from media-research firm Millward-Brown, where he was senior VP, corporate development.

Thanda Belker was promoted to executive vice president, pay television at Sony Pictures Television. She had been VP, pay television.

Starz Media has named Heather Kenyon as vice president, project development and sales, Starz Animation. She comes from Cartoon Network, where she headed series development.

Kevin Zavaglia advanced to president, Northern California and Nevada region at Verizon Wireless. He had been director, business sales in the New York metro region.

The Weather Channel has named Helen Swenson vice president of live programming. She comes from KIRO-TV in Seattle, where she was news director.

Seattle-based private-investment firm Vulcan Capital has tapped Chris Temple as president. He had been VP and executive committee member at the firm.
