Borderline Amazing

Studio Borderline Amazing Productions has named Adrian Kulp as vice president of development. He comes from Happy Madison Productions, where he was director, TV development.

Cablevision

Cablevision Systems has elevated Dave Pistacchio to president of its Optimum Lightpath business-communications unit.

Canoe Ventures

Cable advanced-ad consortium Canoe Ventures has named Tom Huber as executive director, system integration and test, based in Denver. He comes from OpenTV, where he oversaw worldwide product deployment and led the quality assurance program.

Also, Canoe named Kevin McHugh Denver-based executive director, interactive applications. He had been senior director, product development at Tandberg Television.

CSN Mid-Atlantic

Bethesda, Md.-based Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic has promoted Frank Crisafulli to assistant news director. He had been executive producer.

CSN also elevated Joe Yasharoff to managing editor. He had been assignment manager.

Also, Andy Siegel advanced to executive producer. He was producer, Washington Post Live.

And Tim Murphy was also upped to coordinating producer from producer.

Discovery

Greg Yavello has been elevated to vice president, domestic distribution at Discovery Communications. He had been regional director, Eastern region, domestic distribution.

Golf Channel

Golf Channel has tapped Praveeta Singh as director, marketing and consumer promotions. She comes from EA Sports, where she handled strategic planning and developed marketing programs for the Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchise.

Amanda Rintala has also joined Golf as manager, marketing and consumer products. She was online business development manager at Bonnier Corp.

MSG

Gail Stern was named senior vice president, merchandising and licensing at Cablevision Systems unit Madison Square Garden. She had been senior VP, licensing at the Schottenstein Luxury Group.

NYC Media Group

Todd Asher has been named chief operating officer of NYC Media Group, responsible for its over-the-air, cable and radio properties. He was chief operating officer of New York private membership organization The Core Club.

Olympusat

Isaac Hernandez has joined Olympusat as director, programming and acquisitions. He comes from Trinity Broadcasting Network, where he handled film acquisition and scheduling.

Ruckus Wireless

Seamus Hennessy has joined Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Ruckus Wireless as chief financial officer. He had been CFO of Aerohive Networks.

Sorenson Media

San Diego-based Sorenson Media has added Eric Quanstrom as vice president, marketing and strategy. He had been VP, consumer marketing and business development at SightSpeed.

Also, Sorenson elevated Kirk Punches to vice president, sales, from director; and Mark Ivins to controller.

Verizon

Verizon Communications has tapped Richard Windram as director, government and external affairs program in New York City. He helped secure the franchise for FiOS TV in New York.
