DirecTV Extends Deal With Convergys

Satellite Operator Signs Two-Year Contract For Customer-Service Support

Convergys announced that DirecTV has signed a two-year extension on a contract to provide customer-service support for the satellite TV operator's customers.

Convergys has provided customer-service support for DirecTV since it launched in 1994.

"DirecTV takes great pride in delivering the best service to its customers," said Ellen Filipiak, DirecTV's senior vice president of customer service. "We look forward to continuing to work with long time partners such as Convergys to further improve customer care and satisfaction."

Convergys' customers also include Time Warner Cable, Comcast Cox Communications and Suddenlink Communications.
