TVN Provides Time Warner Cable WIth VOD Content Delivery Services
Advanced Asset Management Tools Are Also Part Of Long-Term Agreement

TVN Entertainment Corp. will provide Time Warner systems with its video-on demand content delivery services as part of a long term agreement between the two parties.Under the terms of the deal, TVN will provide the MSO with VOD content delivery services and advanced asset management tools, including TVN's Adoniss interactive system. The deal comes nearly a month after TVN merged with IPTV content aggregator Avail Media to create a new entity set to provide a full-service, multi-platform video distribution service for cable and telephone companies.
"Time Warner Cable has invested heavily to provide its customers with a state-of-the-art digital service and we welcome the opportunity to support their comprehensive VOD initiatives," said Jim Riley, chief sales and strategy officer for TVN Entertainment in a statement. "With over 200 content partners and a rich VOD toolset, TVN is well positioned to help Time Warner Cable maximize its VOD service over the coming years."
Michael Lajoie, executive vice president & chief technology officer of Time Warner Cable said the TVN's Adoniss system will provide the MSO unparalleled control over its VOD assets.
