Cablevision Chairman Among The 300 Industry Executives At Philadelphia Conclave

Philadelphia — Some 300 cable, programming and technology executives convened in Philadelphia for the B&C-Multichannel News OnDemand Summit here June 10.
Among the notables: Cablevision Systems Corp. founder and chairman Charles Dolan, who took in the various panel sessions, including a keynote address from Barry Frey, the executive vice president, advanced platform sales at the predominant operator in the New York DMA.
Asked why he made the trek from Cablevision Systems Corp.'s Bethpage, New York headquarters, Dolan said: "Now is the time to pay attention to VOD."

I guess equally likely, he was looking for a way to expand the services offered so that he could charge exhorbinant rates for them and lord it over all us Cablevision customers that there were more services we couldn't afford
Of course, even if I did order VOD, I'm sure it would take two months to install, and I'd get a fee for my name being on the install waitlist...par for the course Dolan, par for the course'>Are you sure Dolan wasn't scoping the babes? Maybe warming up for another harrassment suit?
