Oxygen Hustles Up Multmedia Strategy For New Dance Series

Oxygen is sizing up multimedia opportunities to promote the June 29 launch of its new dance competition series Dance Your Ass Off.
The network's online site will feature a number of weight loss components related to the series, which features several large-sized contestants facing off in a dance competition to help lose weight. The site will feature weight loss calculators, calorie counters, and healthy recipes, according to network officials.
In addition, merchandise from the series -- including pants, tees, tanks, and water bottles -- will be on sale at shop.oxygen.com once the show launches.
On the video on demand front, Oxygen will offer dance instruction videos via Oxygen's VOD service to operators, according to the network.
