Avail-TVN will deliver more video-on-demand content en Español through an expanded VOD services deal with TuTv, a joint venture of Grupo Televisa and Univision Communications.
The deal covers movies from TuTV's linear channels, De Película and De Película Clásico, featuring contemporary and classic Spanish-language films. TuTv recently increased its offering from five to 10 movies per month.
"We're delighted to continue our relationship with TuTv, and to support our mutual affiliates in delivering a rich and entertaining VOD experience to Latino audiences," Matt Cohen, Avail-TVN's senior vice president of strategy and business development, said in a statement.
Avail-TVN was formed in May with the merger of VOD provider TVN Entertainment and IPTV content aggregator Avail Media.
