TNT Extends More 'Leverage'

'Drama' Network Renews Timothy Hutton Series For Third Season

Nate Ford and his band of cons will get to hack and grift again, as TNT has renewed Leverage for a third campaign.
The series, in which Hutton stars as Ford, a former insurance investigator determined to bring down the kind of corrupt bigwigs whose neglect led to the death of his son, has improved upon its rookie campaign, averaging 4.1 million watchers during its sophomore season. That compares with 3.9 million for Leverage's fist season.
The pick-up follows TNT's renewal of Jada Pinkett Smith-starrer nursing series Hawthorne.
The drama network has yet to make the call on whether Raising The Bar will come back for a third campaign, or if Dark Blue, which bowed last month, will have another run in it.
