Investment Banker Boost Ranks WIth Three Hires, Promotes Bailey

Waller Capital Partners, LLC has established a San Francisco office and bolstered its executive ranks.
The new office in San Francisco will focus on West Coast-centric clients and industries, including communications technology, entertainment and digital media, according to investment banker.
It also hired Mathew Dahl, Michael McHugh and James Pierce, while promoting Linda Bailey to controller and chief administrative officer.
Dahl joins the firm as a managing director based in San Francisco, where he will lead Waller's efforts in the communications technology sector. He was formerly with Banc of America / Merrill Lynch, where he led
communications technologies coverage, working with companies who provide systems, software and components for applications in communications, enterprise IT and consumer electronics.
McHugh, who was with MCG Capital, will also serve as a managing director focusing on mergers and acquisition, capital raising and restructuring assignments for radio and TV broadcasters. He will work closely with Michael Anderson, who joined Waller last month as part of the firm's expanding coverage of the broadcasting sector. McHugh will also handle restructurings and special situations in other media sectors, as well as initiate and lead Waller's coverage of movie theater operators.
Pierce joins from Credit Suisse's mergers and acquisitions group, where he focused on Latin America. He has significant experience in South America, including transactions in the cable industry, and will assist Waller Capital on both domestic and Latin American assignments.
With Waller since 1992, Bailey has been responsible for the firm's day-to-day financial, administrative and operational oversight. She previously held senior operational and administrative roles at Forstmann Little & Co., and The Fairchild Corp.
