Telemundo Tapped As Spanish-Language Media Partner Of Super Bowl Host Committee
Broadcaster Will Support Number Of Community Events Surrounding NFL Championship Game

Telemundo has been named the exclusive Spanish-language media partner for the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee in support of Super Bowl XLIV.
Telemundo will work with the committee, the liaison between the National Football League and the local community in the planning and executing of Super Bowl XLIV, scheduled for Feb. 7, 2010 at Dolphin Stadium in Miami. Moreover, the parties will work together on the Pro Bowl, which kicks off in the same venue on Jan. 31.
The South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee will support multiple community events that the NNFL is sponsoring. Telemundo will have a presence at these events, including Super Kids/Super Sharing, NFL Yet Centers, On World, Rebuilding Together, Habitat for Humanity, Play 60 Challenge, and Emerging business.
"We are proud to play a part in the Super Bowl excitement as the big game returns to South Florida next year," said Telemundo president Don Browne in a statement. "Partnering with the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee for these two major NFL games is a perfect collaboration, as the US Hispanic audience has always relied on Telemundo to be the ultimate destination for sports."

CBS will televise the NFL championship game.
