Joint Venture Movie Service To Bow Oct. 30 With 'Iron Man'

Joint venture movie service Epix will bow on Oct. 30 with Iron Man.

In addition to the pay TV bow of the theatrical in which Robert Downey Jr. stars as industrialist Tony Stark, the service, a union of Paramount, Lionsgate and MGM, will feature the world premiere of Madonna concert, Sticky and Sweet: Live From Bueno Aires, and the comedy special, Eddie Izzard: Live From Wembley.
Epix, which at this juncture only counts Verizon FiOS as an affiliate, will also include Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Madea Goes to Jail, Pink Panther 2, The Dutchess and Cloverfield during its opening weekend.
