Ralph Galione has joined Suwanne, Ga.-based Arris as vice president, sales for the Comcast account. He had been head of Cisco’s Comcast divisional account team.

American Women In Radio & Television has named Sylvia Strobel as interim president, replacing recently named WICT CEO Maria Brennan. She is senior partner in entertainment-law firm Lehmann Strobel.

Bravo Media has tapped Eric Cavanaugh as vice president, program research. He comes from Zenith Media’s Strategic Resources Group, where he led the team responsible for all U.S. day-to-day research needs.
Comcast
Comcast has added Alan Clairmont as vice president, sales and marketing and Dale Kirk as vice president, engineering, in its Southfield, Mich.-based Michigan region. Clairmont was VP, marketing and sales, Comcast Metro Boston; Kirk had been VP, engineering and technical operations in Comcast’s Colorado region.
Cox
Omar Deveraux was named director, network and engineering in Cox Communications’ Roanoake, Va., market. He comes from Cox’s Phoenix system.
FS Southwest
Brad Alberts has joined Fox Sports Southwest as director, sales development. He comes from the Texas Rangers, where he was executive vice president, sponsorship, for the Major League Baseball club.
Insight
Insight Communications has tapped Jerry Avery as general manager in Bowling Green, Ky. He comes from Comcast, where he was director, marketing and sales in the Savannah, Ga., system.
Also, Debra Massey has joined Insight as director, video engineering. She had been responsible for systems integration tests and field deployments at Comcast.
Additionally, Insight has named Timothy K. Michalk as vice president, talent management. He comes from Diebold, where he had served as VP, human resources operations.
And Scott Dant has joined the MSO as director, tax. He comes from Berhinger Harvard/IPC Real Estate Management, where he was tax and treasury director.
Level 3
Mark Martinet has joined Broomfield, Colo.-based Level 3 Communications as chief information officer. He comes from BT Group, where he was head of strategy and transformation.
Move Networks
Guy Beverlin has joined Move Networks as executive vice president, operations. He comes from AT&T, where he was assistant VP, U-Verse operations.
Starz
Alecia Dixon has joined Starz Media as vice president, domestic TV sales. She comes from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, where she was director, worldwide distribution services.
Also, Starz promoted Bill Bergmann to vice president, finance, Starz Entertainment and Jim Urick to vice president, finance, Starz Media.

Dave Dickman has joined Warner Bros. Television Group as senior vice president, digital media sales. He was head of sales, Western/Midwest region, for Yahoo.
Also, Shannon Pruitt joined WBTVG as vice president, sales development. She was was senior VP, integrated sales sponsorship and marketing at Agility Studios.
