Sportsman Channel Aims At Better Distribution With Comcast
Upgrades To Op's Digital Preferred Service In Minnesota, Georgia, Arizona, New Mexico

Sportsman Channel will improve its distribution position with a number of Comcast systems.
Under the agreement, terms of which were not disclosed, the hunting, shooting and fishing network, service will migrate from sports tiers to Comcast's Digital Preferred level of service in in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota; Savannah, Georgia; Tucson, Arizona; and Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
"We're thrilled to bring our strongest programming line-up in our history to Comcast customers," said Willy Burkhardt, president of Sportsman, in a statement. "And we look forward to continuing to provide our viewers and distribution partners with entertaining and informative content across our three programming pillars of hunt, shoot and fish."
Noted Nick Kozel, vice president of sales and marketing, Twin Cities Region for Comcast: "With millions of sportsman across the country, the Sportsman Channel will bring original and quality programming to our customers in the Minneapolis and St. Paul areas."
Sportsman is now available on channel 738 in Minneapolis and 278 in St. Paul.
