Mayleen Ramey To Host Tennis Channel Travel Series

'Destination Tennis: San Diego' Installment Debuts Oct. 26

Tennis Channel will trot out a new host for the next installment of its travel lifestyle show, Destination Tennis.
Mayleen Ramey: host Destination TennisMayleen Ramey: host Destination TennisMayleen Ramey will take the lead with the debut of Destination Tennis: San Diego, when the episode debuts Oct. 26 at 7: 30 p.m. (ET).The show will continue to encore on the channel in the weeks following its premiere, a schedule of which can be found on www.tennischannel.com.
Ramey, who has appeared as a television host on numerous networks, including ESPN2, MTV, E!, TV Guide and G4, succeeds Mieke Buchan, who had hosted the series since its debut in 2006.
In Destination Tennis: San Diego, Ramey plays tennis at both the Rancho Valencia Spa and Resort and La Jolla Beach Tennis Club and goes sailing in San Diego Bay on the America's Cup ship "Stars and Stripes." She also visits the USS Midway aircraft carrier, makes tortillas in Old Town, samples the waters both by kayak and jet ski, enjoys the city's Gaslight District nightlife, and tours the internationally known San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park.
During upcoming episodes,  Ramey will visit on and off the court facilities in Scottsdale, Ariz.; Newport, R.I.; Vancouver, Canada; and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
