Comcast has named Kevin Gow as vice president of customer care for its Greater Chicago Region. He was VP, sales, retention and customer care for Comcast's Eastern Division in Oaks, Pa.
Also, Mark O'Leary was named Comcast's regional vice president of business services, California Region.
Finally, Mary Copponex was named director, sales operations, Comcast Business Services Southern Division. She had been director, commercial operations in the Atlanta region.
Discovery
Discovery Communications has tapped Lori McFarling as chief marketing officer, Discovery Education and Domestic Distribution. She had been divisional marketing officer at Discovery Education.

Michael Collette has been named CEO of programming-language provider FHTML. He comes from PhyFlex Networks, where he was CEO.

Letha McClaren has joined iControl Networks as manager of iControl ConnectedLife Energy Management. She comes from Landis & Gyr, where she was general manager, energy management and applications.

San Diego-based technology firm Imagine Communications has added Doug Means as chief operating officer. He comes from Motorola, where he was VP and GM, IPTV video solutions business unit.
Also, Tibet Minaroglu has joined Imagine as vice president, engineering. He had been chief technical officer and executive VP, engineering, at Beko/Grundig Elektronik.

Jonathan Firstenberg has joined Carlsbad, Calif.-based music production firm MusicBox as senior vice president. He comes from Universal Music Group, where he was VP, business development and creative director.

Sean Salo has joined Music Choice as director of marketing. He comes from MTV Networks, where he was senior director, VH1 Consumer Marketing.

Greg Scholl has joined NBC Local Media as president, local media platforms. He had been CEO digital media services firm The Orchard.
Also, Brian Buchwald was promoted to executive vice president, local integrated media, from senior VP, and Mark French was upped to senior vice president and general manager, local enterprise solutions, from senior VP, GM NBC Everywhere.

Steve Craddock has joined PCT International as executive vice president, chief technology officer. He had been senior VP, technology at Comcast.

Ponturo Management Group has tapped Rachel Owens as director, marketing. She comes from the Madison Green Agency, where she was VP, business development.

Carla Lewis-Long has joined Sí TV as vice president, affiliate distribution, based in New York. She had been senior VP, affiliate sales and marketing at AmericanLifeTV.
Also, Armando Parra has joined Sí TV as Los Angeles-based manager, affiliate-sales operations. He had been manager, video on demand and new business development for Playboy Enterprises.
Synacor
Andrew Attea has advanced to vice president, client operations at Buffalo. N.Y.-based technology firm Synacor. He had been director of client operations.
