Speed Pins Second Season Of 'Bullrun'

Orders 10-Hour Episodes Of Bill Goldberg's Amateur Road Rally Series

MCN Staff -- Multichannel News, 11/2/2009 2:02:00 PM

Speed will be running with Bullrun again.
The network has ordered a second season of Bullrun, the cross-country amateur road rally program hosted by former pro wrestler and self-admitted car fanatic Bill Goldberg.

Speed has ordered 10 one-hour episodes produced and delivered in 720p high-definition, with the season premiere scheduled in primetime in February.

The 2010 season premiere of Bullrun will be made available through advanced screening through Speed's 38-million-household cable, satellite and telco video-on-demand distribution platform. Bullrun also will be featured on an updated SPEEDtv.com minisite with new team bios, behind-the-scenes clips, live chats and a new Bullrun community section.
"We knew early last year that we wanted another season of Bullrun on Speed. All the elements which made the series work last season have been elevated," said senior vice president of programming Steve Craddock in announcing the sophomore season pick-up. "The improved challenges, great locations, interesting teams with a variety of vehicles and a twist in the rules will provide viewers a series which delivers adrenaline and action in every episode. This is no casual drive. The viewers will be in the car with the teams facing tension, suspense and the challenge of beating the competition for $200,000 in cash and prizes."
