Disney Channel Nets Best-Ever Ratings With 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,' 'Imagination Movers'

Network's Primetime Winning Streak Among Kids 6-11, Tweens Approaching Five Years

Last week was a big one for Disney Channel among kids, tweens and preschoolers.
Led by fresh episodes of Phineas and Ferb and The Suite Life on Deck, Disney Channel said it extended its primetime weekly winning streak among kids 6 to 11 and tweens 9 to 14 to 242 and 239, respectively.
Meanwhile, the "Playhouse Disney" block, from Nov. 9 through Nov 15, had its best week in three months, powered by the best-ever performances by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Imagination Movers on Nov. 14, according to Disney Channel officials.
Last Saturday's airing of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse at 9 a.m. averaged a series best 2.99 million watchers and its second-best total among kids 2 to 5 with a 7.2 rating and1.20 million of those watchers, according to Nielsen live+same-day data. At 10 a.m. on Nov. 14, Imagination Movers recorded series highs with 2.71 million viewers and 1.01 million kids 2 to 5 (6.1 rating against that group).
All told, Playhouse Disney scored its largest average audience with 1.42 million watchers since the week of Aug. 24 and against kids 2 to 5 (3.3 rating/539,000 of those viewers) since June 15.
In primetime, Disney -- its run now approaching the five-year mark -- recorded a 3.9 rating and averaged 966,000 kids 6-to-11 watchers, and a 3.3 rating and 796,000 tween viewers, from Nov. 9-15.
Friday Nov. 13's original Phineas and Ferb at 9 p.m. ranked as the week's No. 1 animated TV telecast among kids 6 to 11 (1.86 million/7.6 rating) and tween (1.49 million/6.1 rating).
For its part, the latest installment of The Suite Life on Deck at 8:30 p.m. that night was the week's top TV telecast against kids 6 to 11 (2.17 million/8.8 rating), and placed second among tweens (1.79 million/7.4 rating).
