Mike Reynolds -- Multichannel News, 11/20/2009 7:30:17 AM

TV Guide Network has extended its carriage contract with top U.S. distributor Comcast Corp.

The new multiyear deal, terms of which were not disclosed, covers the distributor's entire footprint.

TV Guide Network has bolstered its programming roster, adding HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, which will begin airing in February, as well as Ugly Betty and Punk'd.
"Comcast is pleased to bring our customers the comprehensive lineup of programming TV Guide Network provides viewers," said Matthew Strauss, senior vice president of new media for Comcast, in a statement. "We continue to offer our customers unparalleled choices and the best viewing experience."

"Providing Comcast customers with our programming is an important step in our plans for the transformation of the TV Guide Network," said Allen Shapiro, chairman of TV Guide Network and TVGuide.com.
