Sportsman Channel To Launch On Comcast Digital Preferred In Houston

Sportsman Channel will ring in the last month of the year with a new launch on Comcast in the Houston DMA.
The hunting, shooting and fishing proponent is scheduled to roll out of Comcast Digital Preferred service in Houston on Dec. 1.
The network, which this year has gained expanded distribution on Comcast systems in a number of markets, including the Pacific Northwest, Tennessee, Mississippi and Utah, will be positioned on channel 131 in Houston.
"The Sportsman Channel will bring original and quality programming to our customers throughout the Greater Houston area," said Tony Speller, senior vice president for Comcast's Houston region, in a statement. "Our customer base includes many avid sportsmen, and the addition of Sportsman Channel will allow us to continue to provide compelling and informative programming that meets their viewing needs."
