TV Guide Network Scores U.S. Right To Boyle's 'I Dreamed A Dream' Special
One-Hour Film Makes Stateside Debut Dec. 13 Hours After U.K. Premiere

TVGuide Network has secured the U.S. rights to a one-hour film about British singing sensation Susan Boyle.
The network, which has augmented its programming roster with such additions as CurbYour Enthusiasm and Ugly Betty, will bow I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story on Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), the same day the documentary premieres on ITV1 in the U.K. at 9 p.m.
The show, following the release of her CD of the same name in the States, will celebrate this woman's journey from a small village in rural Scotland to international fame and fanfare following her inspiring performance on Britain's Got Talent, the reality competition series executive produced by Simon Cowell that skyrocketed Boyle to superstardom.
A co-production between talkbackTHAMES, the UK production company owned by FremantleMedia, and Simon Cowell's Syco TV, I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story features exclusive interviews with Susan, friends and celebrity fans such as Cowell, alongside performances with special guests and other surprises. Boyle will premiere songs from her new CD including, "Cry Me a River" and the Rolling Stones classic "Wild Horses." It also includes a performance of the song that thrust her into the limelight, "I Dreamed A Dream", with the London West End cast of Les Miserables.
