USA Orders New Seasons Of 'Burn Notice,' 'Psych'
Characters Network Orders 16-Episode Campaigns For Next Summer

USA Network is keeping some of its chief characters around for additional seasons.
The characters welcome network renewed Burn and Psych for their fourth and fifth campaigns, respectively.
Jeff Wachtel, president, original programming, USA Network, and co-head, original content, Universal Cable Productions, said that the network has ordered 16 fresh episodes of both series.
Spy series Burn Notice was TV's top series last summer among adults 25 to 54, with its nine episodes averaging 3.72 million of those watchers. Among persons 18 to 49, it was the top scripted show on ad-supported television with 3.91 million of those viewers. Starring Jeffrey Donovan as burned operative Michael Westin, Burn Notice, which will complete its third campaign with seven more episodes starting in January, comes from Fox Television Studios and Fuse Entertainment.
Psych, which will become USA's longest-running series, when Tony Shaloub's Monk takes his final bow on Dec. 4, also will resume its fourth season in January.
Starring James Roday and Dule Hill as a young police consultant and detective, Psych is scheduled to make its fifth-season debut next summer. The show is produced by Universal Cable Productions, in association with Tagline Pictures.
