NFL Network Tackles 6.1 Million Viewers WIth Thanksgiving Telecast
Broncos-GIants' Contest Is Network's Second-Most Watched Game, Tops On Turkey Day

The Denver Broncos' 26-6 thrashing of the New York Giants Thursday became NFL Network's most-watched Thanksgiving night telecast and tackled the service's second-largest audience ever.
Capping an NFL tripleheader on Turkey Day, Denver-New York scored in 3.5 million homes and with 6.1 million watchers on Nov. 27, according to Nielsen data. Those figures do not include the over-the-air stations that carried the games in the New York (WPIX) and Denver (KDVR) DMAs.
Those numbers represented gains of 62% and 55%, respectively, over NFL Network's coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles 48-20 grounding of the Arizona Cardinals on Thanksgiving 2008, according to NFL Network.
Broncos-Giants now ranks as the second-most-watched game in NFL Network's coverage of primetime games, behind the 10.1 million who tuned in the Dallas Cowboys-Green Bay Packers match-up on Nov. 29, 2007.
On Saturday, Nov. 28 at 1 p.m., NFL Network will air the Pro Football Hall of Fame: Road to Canton, which will serve as the forum for the announcement of the contenders for the 2010 Hall of Fame Class, which figures to be topped by the league's all-time receiving leader Jerry Rice.
