Comcast SportsNet Chicago netted its highest regular-season rating for the National Hockey League Blackhawks with its Dec. 23 telecast.
Facing off against fellow "original six" opponent Boston Bruins, the Blackhawks' 3-0 win averaged a 3.27 household rating in the Chicago DMA, according to Nielsen data.
The game averaged 114, 500 households, peaking at 4.72 rating and 165,247 households during the 8:45 p.m. quarter hour.

The 3.27 single game regular-season ratings record on Comcast SportsNet shatters the previous record set earlier this month on December 9 vs. the New York Rangers (3.03).

So far this season, the Blackhawks on Comcast SportsNet Chicago have averaged a 1.98 household rating, a year-to-date increase of 83% compared to last season through 23 telecasts.
