E!'s Red Carpet Globes Show Grows 17%

Seacrest, Rancic-Hosted Program Rolls Up Before 1.7 Million Viewers

E! rolled up a double-digit increase with red carpet coverage at the Golden Globes Awards Sunday night.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic, E!'s Live from the Red Carpet: The 2010 Golden Globe Awards averaged 1.7 million viewers from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (ET) on Jan. 17, according to Nielsen, live + same-day data. That was up 17% from E!'s coverage of the event in 2009.
Live from the Red Carpet posted growth across all key measures compared to last year's show: ahead 12% among households to 1.29; 12% against the network's target adults 18 to 49 demo to 0.87; and 18% among persons18 to 34 to a 0.97 average.
