Cablevision Systems has elevated Charles Schueler to executive vice president, communications and community relations. He was senior VP, media and community relations.

Canoe

Interactive advertising consortium Canoe Ventures has added John Redpath as senior vice president, general counsel. He comes from the U.S. Golf Association, where he was chief legal officer.

CBS

Ezra Kucharz was named president, local digital media of CBS's new local broadcasting business segment. He comes from FiLife.com, a personal-finance joint venture of Dow Jones and IAC/InterActiveCorp.

Comcast

Vanessa Hack has joined Comcast's Southern Division as implementation manager for Comcast Business Services. She had been with the MSO's Business Services National Sales Team.

CSN Mid-Atlantic

Mark Lapidus was promoted to vice president, digital media at Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. He joined the regional sports network in 2007 as director of marketing.

Metan

Beijing, China-based producer Metan Development Group has named Stephanie Giambruno as senior producer, China. She had been a freelance feature writer and news producer in NBC News' Beijing bureau.

MSG

Madison Square Garden has named Robert Pollichino as executive vice president, chief financial officer; Lawrence Burian as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary; and Joseph Lhota as executive vice president, administration.

MTVN LA

MTV Networks Latin America has named Eduardo Lebrija Martínez-Lavin as vice president, country manager of MTVN Mexico. He comes from Sony Pictures Television, where he was ad-sales manager.

Mun2

Flavio Morales was upped to senior vice president, programming and production at Mun2. He was VP, programming at the network.

SCTE

Steve Harris has joined the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers as director, advanced network technologies program development. He comes from Comcast University, where he developed customized Level 2 training programs.

SFI

Long Island City, N.Y.-based production company SFI has named Dante Piacenza as executive producer.

Syfy

Demona Resnick-Hoffman has advanced top vice president, alternative programming at Syfy. She was director, alternative programming.

The Weather Channel

Rob Deichert was named senior vice president, digital advertising operations at The Weather Channel. He comes from AOL, where he was senior vice president, global sales development.
