Reelzchannel said it will increase the frequency of its video-on-demand and pay-per-view movie promotional content to a biweekly basis to keep it as current and relevant as possible. Each Reelzchannel VOD/PPV package consists of 2- to 4-minute segments gleaned from an extensive library about movies, including behind-scenes reporting, celebrity interviews and fan reactions. Each edited segment focuses on one of the top 10-12 VOD/PPV titles in a given month, which distributors can use as part of their promotional strategies.
"The Reelzchannel free VOD/PPV packages have been well received by our affiliate partners," John deGarmo, the network's SVP of affiliate relations, said in a release. "Due to the popularity of the packages, and in an effort to remain as up to date and relevant in our content as possible, we have gone one step farther by increasing the frequency of our distribution."
