Also, Christine Weber will join Discovery as vice president, development and production, specials and events. She had been interim head of specials and events.

David Robinson has joined preschool channel Sprout as director of marketing. He comes from games publisher NCsoft Interactive, where he led media and creative development.

Dan Riess has been named senior vice president of promotions and marketing at Turner Entertainment Ad Sales and Marketing. He had been VP, marketing and ad solutions at Turner Broadcasting System’s New Products Group. Also, Chuck Chiocco was upped to New York sales manager at Turner Entertainment Ad Sales. He had been an account executive.
