World Fishing Network Reels In Liberty Cablevision

HD Fishing Service Now Available In Puerto Rico

WFN: World Fishing Network has launched in high-definition in Puerto Rico.
The 24-hour fishing lifestyle service is now available to Liberty Cablevision subscribers in Puerto Rico on channel 729. Deal terms were not disclosed.
"Fishing is the most popular leisure activity in the Caribbean so there is a tremendous demand for a television network devoted exclusively to angling and related lifestyle programming," said Mark Rubinstein, president and CEO of WFN, in announcing the pact.  "We are delighted that Liberty Cablevision has chosen WFN to satisfy the demand among this underserved community of sport and leisure fishing enthusiasts."
"We are confident that our customers will enjoy WFN as it truly serves their passion for the fishing lifestyle," noted Gabriel Palerm vice president of sales and marketing of Liberty Cablevision. "We welcome WFN to our diverse HD channel lineup and are pleased to provide our customers with this unique network."
