'Wedding Week' Premiere Hitches Top Primetime Performance For We TV

Bridezillas Special, Season Premieres Of Show, My Fair Wedding Average 0.9 Rating, 822,000 Viewers

Quite a number of viewers were bethroed to the first night of We TV's annual Wedding Week programming event.
Featuring a Bridezillas special, the seventh-season premiere of the series and the third-season bow of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, the women's-targeted service averaged a 0.9 household rating and 822,000 viewers from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on June 6, according to Nielsen data. The event helped We record its best primetime performance ever with average rating and audience, as well as with women 18 to 49 (408,000 of those viewers).
Premiering in the 8 p.m. hour, the original special, Bridezillas Where Are They Now?, ranked as the network's best premiere ever among women18 to 49 (486,000) and 25-54 (462,000). All told, the show, catching up with Bridezillas past, scored a 1.06 household rating and over 1 million total viewers. It also ranked as We's second-highest-ever telecast among total viewers, women18 to 49, 25 to 54 and 18 to 34.
For its part, the seventh-season premiere of Bridezillas averaged 753,000 watchers in the 9 p.m. hour, and scored a 14% ratings advance over its season-six mark.
Meanwhile, the third-season debut of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera proved to be the charm, as the June 6 telecast at 10 p.m. averaged 710,000 viewers, its most ever, according to Nielsen data. It also was the series' most-watched episode among women 18 to 49 with 372,000 of those viewers and 216,000 women 18 to 34.
My Fair Wedding also hitched top premiere numbers in terms of household rating with a 0.8 mark, one-third higher than its sophomore season average, and the delivery of women 25 to 54 (341,000).
