‘Vanilla Ice Project' On Slate at DIY Network

‘Ice, Ice Baby' Warbler Overhauls Florida Home in New Series

DIY Network is teaming with Vanilla Ice on a new series focusing on his passion for home renovation.

Vanilla Ice (a.k.a. Robert Van Winkle)'s The Vanilla Ice Project will debut on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. ET, showcasing the Grammy-nominee's 15 years of self-taught home improvement experience.Vanilla Ice starts a home-repair project on DIY.Vanilla Ice starts a home-repair project on DIY.

In the 10-episode series, he's ready for his biggest project yet: a complete overhaul of a six-bedroom and five-bathroom, 7,000-square-foot lakefront home in Palm Beach, Fla. He calls the shots in the room-by-room home makeover series, exposing an side his fans have never seen before.

Vanilla Ice has for years been buying land and flipping houses. He's renovated old homes and foreclosures and taught himself the basics through hands-on experience and a lot of research.

Over the course of The Vanilla Ice Project, he rides his crew hard to get through the punch list, so that they can get the house on the market.

Beginning Oct. 21, a new half-hour episode airs on DIY every Thursday at 9:30 p.m. Encore episodes air Thursdays at 9 p.m.
