Joins Paul In Taking Home Statue For Cable Net's Crystal Meth Series

Mike Reynolds -- Multichannel News, 8/29/2010 9:14:35 PM

Bryan Cranston won his third consecutive Best Actor in a Drama Emmy for his portrayal of Walt White on AMC's Breaking Bad.
Cranston plays high school chemistry teached turned crystal meth cooker Walt White, who veered from his run-of-the-mill life after he was diagnosed with cancer and turned to a life of crime to secure his family's financial future.
Cranston's victory came over Michael C. Hall for his work as the lead character on Showtime's serial kiler series Dexter; Kyle Chandler  as Coach Taylor on DirecTV/NBC's Friday Night Lights; Hugh Laurie as the lead character on Fox's medical series House; Matthew Fox as Jack Shepard on ABC's Lost; and Jon Hamm as Don Draper in AMC's retro advertising series, Mad Men.
Cranston co-star Aaron Paul took home the best supporting actor Emmy for his portrayal of Jesse Pinkman, White's partner in the peculiar and crime on the show.
