Outdoor Channel Hits Sponsorship Target With Horton Archery

Brossbow Manufacturer Is Charter Sponsor Of New Sunday Afternoon Programming Block

 Outdoor Channel has reached an agreement for Horton Archery to become a charter sponsorship for the network's New Sunday afternoon programming block.

Featuring premier bowhunting and outdoor superstars like Michael Waddell, Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo, Don and Kandi Kisky, and Jackie Bushman, "Hunt Masters Sundays by Horton Archery" airs between noon. and 3 p.m. (ET).

Six Outdoor Channel shows are presented as part of the three-hour branded Horton Archery block: Archer's Choice, Bass Pro Shops King of Bucks, Bass Pro Shops Next Generation, Bone Collector,The Jackie Bushman Show and Whitetail Freaks.

Deal terms were not disclosed.

"Outdoor Channel's partnership with Horton Archery reflects our aligned core mission to educate and engage outdoor enthusiasts," said network COO Tom Hornish in announcing the pact. "This sponsorship provides a strong identity for our Sunday block, showcases our popular original programming and top talent, and exposes audiences to the exciting sport of archery."
