No Negotiations In Hallmark, AT&T Carriage Disconnect
Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movie Channel Remain Off Telco's Air

As of midday Wednesday, negotiations had not resumed between Hallmark and AT&T over the latter's carriage of the former's channels.
"We are not negotiating now," said a Hallmark spokesperson. "We gave AT&T our last proposal, and they dropped us. We are willing to continue to negotiate but they have not responded to our last proposal."
Hallmark had said it was willing to grant an extension of carriage beyond the 12:01 a.m. Sept. 1 date when the old carriage agreement expired, but AT&T said it was Hallmark that prompted the take-down. AT&T replaced the channels with Starz Kids & Family and Turner Classic Movies.
"AT&T offered to extend the current deal and Hallmark rejected that offer," said a spokesperson, who had no comment on whether talks would resume anytime soon.

During this difficult financial time business should be keeping their prices down. Shame on Hallmark for not making a price available to AT&T. Big business profit got us in this financial trouble.

I enjoyed watching Hallmark and will greatly miss it, however, I commend AT&T for protecting its subscribers from unfair, greedy tactics by Hallmark. Why should I or any other American have to constantly pay more for watching television! I am completely appalled that most AT&T subscribers are in support of Hallmark. These individuals do not have any knowledge of this situation, or they are complete idiots that are being brainwashed by Hallmark! I say, "Show your support for AT&T and do not cancel your subscription!"
