Mike Reynolds -- Multichannel News, 9/3/2010 11:43:24 PM

CBS College Sports Network kicks off its eighth season of Division I college football coverage on Sept. 4 with BYU hosting Washington.
All told, the network, home to Armed Forces football, the Mountain West and Conference USA action, will present 43 games this season
The network begins its run with Inside College Football Tailgate at 6 p.m. (ET) on Sept. 4 from the BYU, which will leave the Mountain West at the end of the 2010-11 academic year. Adam Zucker and Brian Jones anchor the pre- and post-game shows, while Dave Ryan and Aaron Taylor call the action. Brooke Olzendam will report from the sidelines.
For the second consecutive year, CBS College Sports will serves as the broadcast home of Armed Forces football and will dedicate a special day of programming to our nation's troops and service academies on Oct. 30. The day's coverage showcases a tripleheader featuring home games from each of the service academies: VMI at Army at noon; Duke traveling north to Navy at 3:30 p.m.; and Utah visiting Air Force at 7:30 p.m. The network will also feature special studio programming that day.
In what will be the first of five contests on the network this season, Army begins its home schedule on CBS College Sports against Hawaii on Sept. 11 at noon. The channel will again broadcast the complete slate of Navy home games.
CBS College Sports Network enters its fifth year as a broadcast partner of the Mountain West and sixth year with Conference USA, and again has some top match-ups in-store: North Carolina State at UCF (Sept. 11); Boise State at Wyoming (Sept. 18); Houston at SMU (Oct. 23); Air Force at TCU (Oct. 23); TCU at Utah (Nov. 6); and BYU at Utah (Nov. 27).
The service will set up its games with CBS College Sports' Lineup, a new, weekly 30-minute show hosted by CBS Sports's Tracy Wolfson that previews the weekend college football action, focusing on the teams, players and coaches that will be featured on CBS College Sports Network.
