Christopher Menard has joined online video platform provider Brightcove as chief financial officer. He had been senior VP and CFO of Phase Forward, a software and services company.

FILMON.COM
FilmOn.com, an Internet-based HDTV service, has named David Ferrara as president. Ferrara comes from Grandview Investment Bank, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions in the broadcast technologies, post-production and creative production sectors.

RAINBOW MEDIA
Rainbow Media has promoted Danielle Pantages-Baker to vice president of ad sales, western region. She will oversee national sales accounts for AMC, WE TV and Wedding Central within the region’s 13-state territory.

SESAME WORKSHOP
Sesame Workshop, the educational organization that produces Sesame Street and The Electric Company, has named Charlotte Frances Cole as senior vice president, global education. Additionally, Jeanette Betancourt has been promoted to senior vice president, outreach and educational practices.

SHILO
Jennifer Siegel has joined Shilo, a production company, as West Coast executive producer. She is based in La Jolla, Calif.

SÍ TV
Rafael “Rafe” Oller was tapped as Sí TV’s senior vice president of marketing. He had been VP of marketing and on-air promotion for Warner Channel, a division of Warner Brothers International, since 2008.

SONY PICTURES TELEVISION
Sony Pictures Television has named Eddie Nelson as senior vice president, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Networks . Nelson had been general manager of SPT Networks Central Europe since 2008.

TELEMUNDO
Karen Barroeta has been promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president, marketing creative, at Telemundo. Additionally, Carlos Collazo has been upped to VP, on-air promotions, reporting to Barroeta.

THE WEATHER CHANNEL
The Weather Channel Cos. has hired Megan Rock as vice president of partnership marketing and operations and Brittany Smith as vice president of national accounts. Rock had been VP of domestic distribution at Discovery Communications; Smith was VP of client service at Javelin Direct Inc.

UNIVERSAL CABLE PRODUCTIONS
Universal Cable Productions has named Reena Singh vice president, development and current programming, and Stacy Fung director, development and current programming. Also, Stephanie Albrycht was upped to manager of development and current programming and Brad DeLima advanced to manager of casting for UCP, USA and Syfy Networks.
