MOD Trailers Delivered To Consumers Ordering Placing Pizza Hut Orders Online

Consumers placing Pizza Hut orders online can view movie trailers from films airing on demand as part of a partnership between Pizza Hut and In Demand.
The movie on demand (MOD) promotional campaign, running over the next several months, will expose visitors to the Pizza Hut order page at www.pizzahut.com to movie trailers, video clips and movie trivia -- as well as a listing of suggested movies available immediately from their cable system's MOD lineups -- while they wait for their pizza delivery, according to the on demand company.Pizza Hut averages more than one million online orders a month.
In Demand will feature family entertainment-themed movies such as Alpha and Omega and Dinner For Schumcks - all of which will be available to order immediately on cable -- as part of the promotion.
"This partnership is the perfect synergy between two in-home convenience products: the Pizza Hut home delivery service and the MOD cable platform," said In Demand chief creative officer Stacie Gray in a prepared statement. "Pizza Hut's dynamic Entertainment Hut is an original concept that keeps customers entertained online while waiting for their delivery. This partnership gives Pizza Hut a brand association with Hollywood's top-tier movie content, and consumers get an added menu item; new release movies they can enjoy instantly on cable."
Armando Garza, senior director of CRM for Pizza Hut, added that the ability to offer customers entertainment options in between the time they place the order and when it's ready "is a unique offering that we are very excited to provide. Pizza Hut is increasingly focused on value, from our simplified pricing menu to being able to offer customers added bonuses like this when they order from us."
