E! Rolls Out Best Grammy Red Carpet Ratings
Coverage Draws 2.9 Million Viewers

Lady Antebellum and Lady Gaga weren't the only winners at last night's Grammy Awards.
E!'s Live from the Red Carpet: The 2011 Grammy Awards scored the network's top Nielsen marks ever with the event.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic, E!'s Feb. 13 coverage from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. averaged a 2.11 household rating and 2.9 million total viewers, its best deliveries, according to Nielsen data. The number's also represented gains of 12% and 14%, respectively, over its red carpet coverage of the music industry's big event in 2010.
E! officials said its Live from the Red Carpet: The 2011 Grammy Awards' coverage was driven by record highs among a younger audience, posting its best ever performance among adults 18 to 34 (1.74) and women of that age (2.45) as it exceeded last year's performance by +20% with both measures.
As for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards itself, CBS garnered 23.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen fast nationals, up 3% from the 2010 show. It marked the highest vieweship since 2000.
