Full Channel To Roll Out Al Jazeera English
Rhode Island Provider Also Set To Launch Current TV, Fox Business Network On April 26

Full Channel TV is bolstering its programming portfolio by adding a trio of networks.
The Rhode Island provider has reached carriage deals, terms of which were not disclosed, with Al Jazeera English, Current TV and Fox Business Network. The services are slated to launch on Full Channel's Digital Silver TV tier on channels 168, 118 and 169, respectively, according to officials.
Al Jazeera English, which has won accolades from news agencies worldwide for its coverage of the turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa, says it now reaches more than 250 million households in more than 120 countries, but has limited carriage in the U.S. The channel, which aims to provide independent and impartial news for a global audience, has broadcast centers located in Washington, DC; London; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Doha, Qatar and with more than 70 bureaus around the world,
Current Media, the Peabody and Emmy Award-winning television and online network founded in 2005 by former Vice President Al Gore and Joel Hyatt, is expected to lift its profile with the upcoming launch of former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann's show.
Fox Business Network is the all-business sister network of top-rated Fox News Channel. In addition to presenting Don Imus' Imus in the Morning show, the network provides expansive coverage of financial and business news.
