Galavision Gains Top Spanish-Language Cablecast In U.S. History With FIFA U-17 Final

Net's Coverage Of Mexico's Win Over Uruguay Averages 2.2 Million Viewers

Mexico wasn't the only winner during the FIFA U-17 World Cup Final Sunday: Galavision netted the highest rating in the history of Spanish-language cable television with its coverage of the match.
Univision Communications' cable network averaged 2.2 million with its presentation of Mexico's 2-0 win over Uruguay on July 10, according to Nielsen live + same-day data. That delivery was the most in the history of Spanish-language cable in the U.S., according to network officials.
The match garnered 1.5 million persons 18 to 49, 1.1 million males of that age, 983,000 persons 18 to 34 and 685,000 guys of that age.
Nearly 4.1 million total viewers watched all or part of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Final, according to Nielsen.
Univision officials said the telecast ranked as the second watched telecast by males 18 to 49 and 18 to 34 and ranked fourth among person 18 to 34 for the day among all ad-supported cable networks, regardless of language on July 10.
Digitally, the young version of El Tri also delivered as live streaming of the match on www.UnivisionDeportes.com scored with 64,101 unique users with an average stream tile of 64 minutes and 42 seconds, according to Univision.com U.S. & PR Traffic Analystics MRC Accredited. For the FIFA U-17 World Cup section of the site, Univision amassed 998,000 page views  and 146,000 visits on the day of the final.
