CTAM In New York Bolsters Speaker Roster With Piskorski, Lubars
Harvard Business Professor, BBDO Creative Officer On Board With Conference Formerly Known As The Summit

CTAM in New York has added a pair of speakers to its upcoming conference in October.
Mikołaj "Misiek" Jan Piskorski, associate professor, business administration in the strategy unit at the Harvard Business School, and David Lubars, chairman and chief creative officer, BBDO America, have been added to the confab's roster of executives.
CTAM in New York will be held Oct. 5-7 at The New York Marriott Marquis.
"The cable industry is experiencing a transformation unlike any it has ever seen," said Oxygen Media president and conference co-chair Jason Klarman in a statement."Technology and consumer behavior are changing the business at an exponential rate so we are creating a conference with bold ideas focusing on what's new and what's next."
Added Time Warner Cable Brand Strategy and Marcom senior vice president and conference co-chair Marissa Freeman: "This rebranding is about redefining the CTAM conference experience. Our goal is to serve up ideas and innovators to feed attendees' inner geniuses -- and we're sprinkling it all with New York City attitude and excitement."
During his speech, Piskorski will challenge traditional logic with a provocative study on social media advertising. He is known for examining how firms can harness the power of social networks together with innovative organizational designs to build and implement sustainable strategies.
For his part, Lubars will provide a take on inventing media for an On Demand TV world. He began his career in 1981 and has won a slet of creative awards, including Grand Prix Cannes, Grand Clio, Grand Andy, Best of Show One Show, Best of Show Radio Mercury, Gold Effie, British D&AD, Communications Arts and the Emmy three times for best TV commercial in America.
