BRIGHT TECHNOLOGIES

Roger Beck was promoted to chief technology officer at Reno, Nev.-based Bright Technologies. He formerly worked worldwide manager of its Technical Services Group.

CANOE

Cable interactive-TV consortium Canoe Ventures has added David Kelly as vice president, affiliate relations. He had been VP, national accounts at A&E Television Networks.

Also, Chris Pizzurro was elevated to general manager, VOD Solutions, from VP, product strategy and business development; and Jonathan Bokor has joined Canoe as general manager, ITV Solutions.

Finally, Sanjay Patel has signed on with Canoe as vice president, marketing.

E!

Kevin Plunkett has been named senior vice president, scripted programming, at E!, a new post. He comes from ABC Entertainment, where he was senior VP, comedy development, ABC Studios.

COX

Cox Communications has promoted Leigh Woisard to chief communications counsel, based in the MSO’s Atlanta headquarters. She was VP, public affairs at Cox Virginia.

Also, Cami Matson was named director, community relations for Cox Communications’ California operations. She had been president and CEO of the San Diego North Convention and Visitors’ Bureau.

ENTERTAINMENT STUDIOS

Lenny Bart has joined Entertainment Studios as executive vice president, research and business development. He had been executive VP, general manager at syndicator Debmar-Mercury.

ESPN DEPORTES

ESPN Deportes has named Freddy Rolón vice president of programming and business initiatives. He was senior director II, ESPN Deportes Radio and business initiatives.

GOODMAN MEDIA

Carla De Landri has joined New York-based Goodman Media as senior counsel. She comes from ABC News, where she was a senior broadcast producer for 20/20.

GSN

Amy Introcaso-Davis has joined GSN as executive vice president, programming. She was senior vice president, original programming and development, at NBCUniversal’s Bravo Media.

INSIGHT RESEARCH

Insight Research Group has named Perry Baldwin as chief possibility officer. He comes from Doe-Anderson Advertising, where he was EVP, chief strategic officer/ chief operating officer.

Also., Dawn Henry was named to the new post of senior vice president, insights and strategy, at Insight. She was VP, consumer planning at Diageo.

ITAAS

Chris Bowick has joined the advisory board of interactive- TV firm Itaas. A 25-year cable tech veteran, he was the longtime chief technology officer at Cox Communications.

NBCUNIVERSAL

Beth Colleton was upped to senior vice president, corporate responsibility at NBCUniversal. She had been VP of Green is Universal/sustainability.

SIGNIANT

Margaret Craig has joined Burlington, Mass.-based Signiant as CEO. She was chief operating officer, network services, at Ascent Media Group.

STARZ MEDIA

Eric Becker was promoted to vice president, corporate communciations at Starz Entertainment and Starz Media. He had been executive director, corporate communications, at Starz Entertainment.

USA NETWORK

Alex Sepiol was upped to senior vice president, original scripted programming, at USA Network.

DID YOU KNOW? While at ABC News, Carla de Landri worked on such broadcasts as World News Tonight With Peter Jennings, Nightline and 20/20.
