The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers has lined up a trio of Comcast Cable bigwigs -- president and CEO Neil Smit, CTO Tony Werner and chief network officer John Schanz -- as guest speakers at the SCTE-Tuck Executive Leadership Program at Dartmouth College next year.

The conference is scheduled for April 29-May 4, 2012, at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth's Hanover, N.H., campus. The program is $10,250 per attendee.

The SCTE-Tuck Executive Leadership Program, featuring courses led by Tuck faculty, was held for the first time in April 2011 with 40 attendees from operators, technology vendors and programmers. Time Warner Cable chairman, president and CEO Glenn Britt and CTO Mike LaJoie were featured speakers at the inaugural event.

At next spring's conference, Smit, Werner and Schanz will have a discussion of "critical issues facing the industry," SCTE said.

"Helping our current and future technologists improve organizational and leadership skills is essential to the future success of our industry," Schanz said in a statement. "We anticipate that the tools acquired at the SCTE-Tuck Executive Leadership Program will help our executives to evaluate new technologies and business models that can help us to drive continued growth in the future."

Additional on the program is available at www.scte.org/professional_development/leadership_institute.aspx.
