The rollout of INSP will occur in communities throughout Illinois, northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan on channel 157 over the next few months. Financial terms were not disclosed.
"Comcast offers a wide variety of programming that aligns with our customers' interests," said David Williams, vice president of marketing for Comcast's Greater Chicago Region, in announcing the agreement. "The addition of INSP brings with it new programming options that many of our customers will appreciate and enjoy."
Noted Inspiration Networks senior vice president of worldwide distribution Mark Kang: "The vast growth INSP has experienced since the launch of our ‘New Day' programming in October 2010 demonstrates that we've hit a nerve in the marketplace. INSP continues to resonate with those who desire entertainment programming that reflects traditional values. Thanks to our valuable partner, Comcast, television viewers in the greater Chicago area now can be ‘INSPired' by our content."
