has joined Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Broadway Systems as senior vice president of the advertisingmanagement software provider. He comes from Media- Bank, where he was also a senior VP.

CHARTER

Charter Communications has upped Matt Derdeyn to senior vice president, corporate finance. He had been VP, corporate finance.

CNN

Jim Acosta
has joined CNN’s Washington, D.C., bureau as national political correspondent. He had been a CNN correspondent covering Washington and national stories.

COMCAST

Comcast Cable has added Inder M. Singh as senior vice president, strategic planning. He comes from Cisco Systems, where he was VP, corporate portfolio management and long-range planning.

CTVMA

The Connected TV Marketing Association has named Aaron Gasperi as midwestern vice president. He is a director at Minneapolis-based digital marketing agency FRWD.

DISCOVERY

Gabe Vehovsky
was promoted to executive vice president, digital strategy and emerging business at Discovery Communications. He had been EVP, digital media strategy and client solutions.

GLOBECAST

Globecast Americas has named Randolphe “Randy” Pike as vice president, broadcast engineering. He comes from Fox Broadcasting, where he was VP, affiliate engineering and affiliate relations.

INSP

Michael Breedlove
was named director, digital media development at The Inspiration Networks. He had been an Internet technology manager and senior Web systems analyst.

MC

New York-based MC, formerly Music Choice, has tapped Christina Tancredi for the new post of chief operating officer. She was executive vice president of the programmer, overseeing advertising, research, marketing and new business development.

SCHOEN

Mary G. Murano
has joined Schoen Marketing as head of business development in New York. She most recently served as EVP, TV networks distribution at NBCUniversal.

SPT

Chris Kiriakatis
was elevated to senior vice president, digital, advertiser sales at Sony Pictures Television. He had been director, ad sales.

SYFY

Chris Vitale
advanced to senior vice president, programming, at Syfy, based in New York. He had been VP, programming.

Also, Robyn Lattaker-Johnson, Wayne Sampson and Colin Whelan were named vice president, alternative programming at Syfy. Lattaker-Johnson had been an independent producer; Sampson was VP, development at Dick Clark Productions; and Whelan was director of production/executive producer at TLC.

VERIA LIVING

Paul Cestari
has joined Veria Living as assistant general manager and vice president, content and distribution. He comes from Eclipse Marketing, where he was senior VP, sales and new business development.

Also, Sandeep Krishnamurthy has joined the programmer as head of over-the-top distribution for Veria and sister network Zee TV. He was GM of the South Asian business at Dish Network.
