MCN Staff -- Multichannel News, 2/17/2012 9:59:00 AM

Taking a page from the older screen medium and its business relationship with Madison Avenue, online video media outlets will stage their own versions of upfront presentations in New York during April.
Google, sister video outlet YouTube, Yahoo!, Hulu, AOL and Microsoft are planning a two-week event in New York in April to strut their online video marketing and advertising capabilities, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The presentations evidently will hail under the "Digital Content New Fronts" banner.
