Things Get ‘Chilli’ on Lifetime’s Strong Medicine

Lifetime Television’s Strong Medicine is getting a taste of TLC.

Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of multiple-Grammy-Award-winning group TLC will guest-star on the one-hour drama Sunday, June 20 at 9 p.m. (EST/PST), the network said Wednesday.

Thomas plays pop star Amber Steele, who is being treated for fatigue by Dr. Andy Campbell (Patricia Richardson). While at the clinic, Campbell introduces Amber to 10-year-old Lily, a young patient suffering from a serious heart condition.

To brighten Lily’s spirit, Amber invites the young girl to spend the day with her, but the situation takes an ugly turn when Lily is drawn into a very serious legal allegation.

Sony Pictures Television produces Strong Medicine for Lifetime. Whoopi Goldberg and Tammy Ader are executive producers.
