C-COR.net: Worst Is Over

By Matt Stump -- Multichannel News, 1/16/2003 6:31:00 AM

C-COR.net Corp. posted revenue of $54 million in its second quarter ending Dec. 31 -- a drop from $67.2 million versus the same period a year ago, but better than its fiscal first-quarter total of $44.6 million.

The company recorded a net loss of $4.7 million compared with $497,000 in net income in the year earlier period.

C-COR also expects third-quarter revenue in the $54 million to $60 million range, suggesting that the worst may be behind it.

"We are adjusting our costs to match the business base going forward," CEO Dave Woodle said.

In other technology news, Arris said Susquehanna Communications is deploying its "Cadant C4" cable-modem-termination system.
