AT & T Throws Wrench Into Time Warner Deal

Wilmington, Del.-AT & T Corp. raised a challenge in bankruptcy court here against the sale of assets of GST Telecommunications Inc. to Time Warner Telecom Inc.

AT & T objected to the bidding process that resulted in GST agreeing to sell substantially all of its assets for $450 million.

AT & T hasn't bid for the assets itself, but another company-MBN Communications of Hawaii-claimed that it had an offer on the table. The bankruptcy court will decide.
