Motorola Advances a Kennedy in Politics

Michael D. Kennedy has been promoted to senior vice president and director of Motorola Inc.'s Global Government Relations Organization.

He had been corporate VP and director of Motorola’s Global GRO from 2000-03.

Kennedy’s responsibilities include telecommunications-market access and regulatory policy; political advocacy and funding to enable sales; and federal and state legislative affairs. He manages a global team with staff in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America.
